Anyway, if you look at the profiles of people who have gotten it in the past years - it's obvious that they give it to people with the highest number of medals.
As a positive example to people to do their own research, this thread should be made hard to find. Employ similar lowering-of-visibility mechanisms to what Elon Musk had in mind when he took over Twitter and had to deal with the question of combatting hate speech. LI has encouraged an endemic level of laziness and indolence among this country's lawyers and law students. It needs to stop today.

The Dr Mrs Ambriti Salve Scholarship
Following a generous gift made by Mr Harish Salve, a Friend of Exeter College, the College seeks to elect a Salve Scholar from among candidates who are ordinarily resident in India and who have an offer of admission to Oxford University and a place at Exeter College to read for the BCL degree in Law.
Where a suitable candidate is identified, the Scholarship will be awarded in conjunction with an Oxford University Clarendon Fund award, and together these awards will fund the Course Fees, and a stipend to cover living expenses. Otherwise, it may be awarded as a standalone Scholarship, in which case its value will reflect the Course Fees and a stipend for living expenses up to that of the UKRI minimum stipend level (for 2022-2023 this was £17,668).
The Scholarship is for the one-year BCL degree in the first instance. However, should the Scholar be offered, and accept, a place on the MPhil in Law course having excelled on the BCL course, a further year’s funding may be made available.
Candidates must be applicants to the University of Oxford for admission to the BCL degree in Law and should apply for any other University Scholarship for which they are eligible. The successful candidate must become a member of Exeter College and commit to remaining at Exeter College for the duration of their BCL degree, and for the MPhil in Law if they progress to that degree.
How to apply
There is no separate application process for this Scholarship; you simply need to apply for your graduate course by the relevant January deadline.
We will consider all eligible applicants to Oxford for this Scholarship, regardless of whether or not you state Exeter College as your preferred College on your graduate application form. If we offer you this Scholarship we will also offer you a place at Exeter College, which will take the place of any earlier College offer you may have.

Are the scholarships awarded randomly? Or is having contacts with Mr. Salve (or Mr. Sarosh Zaiwalla) necessary? Do they have a say at all?
