Please prioritise your health. With your experience, it will not be too difficult to find another job. Alternatively, considering a sabbatical/ non-paid off from your current place.
Of course, there is nothing above your health and well- being man. What will you do with your career and money if you’re not even able to enjoy it?
If you get along well with the team, ask for unpaid leave. Lot of people have back pain and some have taken 6-7 months unpaid leave.

Focus on health boss. All the best!
Thanks all for this kind feedback. I am sure anyone with constant pain (muscular/nerve related) will be able to relate how tough it gets to continue normal life. You often have to make many alterations and exercise timely to get better.
I can relate to you. It's better to understand the will of God and surrender to the bigger plan Lord has for you.
As a similarly placed A3, Id say stick it out and make SA and then take care of yourself. Let your partner(s) know this beforehand maybe. One more year of sleepless nights - let’s get it done with.
I thought after 5-6 years of working as an associate everyone becomes SA
Please prioritize your health, man.

Always remember: Jaan hai, toh jahaan hai.
Please take a break, look for in-house or hybrid work options, do master's etc. leave before it gets too bad
The fact that this is even being asked reflects the sad state of affairs at law firms
take sabbatical. or get promoted first then take a sabbatical
