I have been sick of this team for a while. I reached out.
Turns out the hiring was for another person at my level in my own team. Now the recruiter has told my partner that I applied for a job in his own team. He mentioned it to me, asking if I was looking to switch.
What's the course of action here? Should I leave, or will they ask me to leave before?
