Sometimes, life feels like a chore- same as a law firm, like you are Sisyphus moving the stone to the top of the hill and when you finally do it, you've to do it again. A Partner may get more satisfaction on closing a merger than a teacher may get after finishing the semester / trimester.
Need guidance from this community on whether this is a good choice, what are the pros and cons and how to go about becoming a successful professor.
