I am 28 years old. I live in Delhi, and I have been practising hard-core litigation for five years now. While I am reasonably satisfied with the kind of work that I have had the opportunity to do, I am a little frustrated by the financial aspect of a very upper limit. Sort of situation being reached in terms of any stipend I can make from a law chamber. I am considering a switch to a tier 1/2 law firm in Delhi specifically within the litigation/white collar crime scheme of things.
Can someone please give me an explanation of how this transition will be taking into account that I have worked in some of the best offices in the city over the last five years, but not longer than for about a year in each. I have learnt trial court High Court and Supreme Court work as well as a brief stint with a commercial law firm dealing in a lot more advisory and Corp kind of work. Also, which top 3 firms and what teams (if youβre aware) should I be seeking a reference into? if someone could give some suggestions?
Good query
