I have nothing against OP personally and wish them well, whatever they want to do. But this just goes to showcase the rank hypocrisy in the Indian NGO/human rights/impact space.
Why are you pivoting? Most HR people are going in the opposite direction, leaving corp and litigation and joining academia/research.
No need to join corporate. You will end up giving gyaan on work life balance, work timings, so called exploitation of resources
What should I keep in mind? I need some advice and guidance on how to manage the work load and how to develop a good mindset as a corporate lawyer. Human rights law and academia seems to be quite at the opposite spectrum.
