As a person who is currently in 1st year (tier 3 NLU), do you think interning at CCL in June could be of any help to me? And would CCL even accept a 1st-year student who has more or less a blank CV?

Working with CCL NLS would be better for the 1st year as there is no such heavy work, but any day Project 39 A but I doubt whether they take any first years

You'll need Hindi at 39A and Kannada at CCL. Choose accordingly

I am happy with assisting in any way I can, tbh. I just want to intern somewhere and get some sort of experience, though I was inclined more towards p39a. Unfortunate they don’t take first years. :/
