There's another category of snakeoilsmen constantly coming up with scams, or ponzi schemes. I am yearning for some intellectual stimulation. Looks like I am stuck in the wrong side of the city and feels like I am going back in time.

The corporate world's limited view can indeed lead to despondency that you are feeling. Your concerns reflect cyclical economic turns, common throughout history. Today's demand for instant change often misinterprets natural fluctuations as collapse. Remember, influencing and instant gratification don't override fundamental economics or global politics. Our civilisation is much older than what you can imagine and things change slowly. The advent of the Information Age that we are in does change the dynamics since we have to deal with the overload.
Consult World Economic Forum reports to identify future focus areas. There was an WEF report from February 2025 on the future of work and skills that is very informative. Industry 5.0 will generate vast opportunities, and while law will evolve, lawyers possess the foundational framework to adapt and contribute.

Broaden your perspective by interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. This will foster open-mindedness, continuous learning, and reduce the anxiety that is driving you to address these concerns on this forum :)

The world economic order is in a complete disarray! The Indian economy focus is mostly on augmenting the domestic industries and consumption which seems pretty far-fetched at the moment.

Indian Defensive Industry, which seemed like a safe investment harbour is under threat, FDI investments and FIIs pulling out of the Indian Stock Market are reasons enough to see the what lies in store for us Indians. Liquidity of Banks has been hit. NBFCs are struggling. Real Estate and Infrastructure which were major themes until 2024 are no longer in the picture. Premiumisation of brands has been shoved back into the bin. So what remains?

Indian Government's focus is on Critical Minerals, Nuclear Energy, Protection of Traditional Medicines, Defence, Internal Security, Religious Tourism, Green Hydrogen, Biotech, Tribal Welfare from the recent themes.
