They all are good respectable faculty. 3-4 leaving is normal for any place. And glorifying one or two faculty of one or two subjects is stupid. New people will come in. They learn and grow. Faculty members are not elected representatives. Some may just want to teach. Some may be good in research. Some good at marketing themselves. Some good at all. Same like in law firms or any other job. Dont make it more than that.
This post is nothing but an agenda to malign people who are just doing their work. The institution went through a difficult last semester putting a lot of emotional burden on our teachers. Dont bully teachers.
LI is requested to close this thread.
I want to know because the conversation in this post seems to make Sudhir the God of all VCs and legal education system must adhere to what he says. If something like Sudhir is done in NLUD, would ANY exisitng faculty remain here? Would the Delhi Government behave same as the Govt there in Karnataka? What am I missing?
Why only NLS or NLUD? What the status of faculty in DU, NLUJ or NUALS? What are the faculty doing there? Who are they?
Remember each law school has more than 25-30 faculty so I am assuming they must be all stellar.
Really what to know who are you advocating for as so good.
Additionally, the university has set up an incubation center, an AI unit, and a SOAS project. We have also appointed four world-class faculty members, among other achievements. As an alumna of this university, I can confidently say that NLUD is on its way to becoming the undisputed number one law school in the country. Rather than chest-thumping, try to draw a bigger line.
If AS wanted to really do something for students, he would have stayed. Else faculty just moves around to colleges seeking their benefits. Do something better with your life than making up news.
RS himself was not a great academic or researcher and he recruited so many mediocre and dubious faculty.
Mrinal, Aparna and Anup raised the bar and now if all of them left/leaving and with a VC known for nepotism and corrupt practices, NLUD is no better than MNLU Nagpur.
Letโs see, if only locational advantage of Delhi saves this place as a premier institute?
