has anyone heard anything about their frontier tech team? led by deepika yadav i think?
Probably the only firm i know where investors have refused to make the deal if G&G represents the lawyer. absolutely horror of a practice.
A0 pay is 8+1. Culture is pretty good and the work is very VC heavy, but good exposure - a few former associates have go on to join KCO. Internship experience is pretty solid - very few days where there was no work.
The name is not the compliment that they think it is
Really? That's so strange given they seem to do so many deals... would want to know why and how they are getting work then from people

I had done a deal with them around a year ago they seemed decent enough
▮▮▮ no respect for work life balance (working for 16-17 hours straight, weekends, holidays, etc. very very common) - you'll be expected to work till 3-4AM just because the partner himself likes to work till that time ▮▮▮
Naive comment. Chances are high that you will learn all round skills at a busy boutique firm (as they will make you do everything for peanuts). Chances are low that you will do anything more than a component of work at a busy practice at larger firm.
How is the work-life-balance over there? Also are Saturdays and Sundays working?

stratage law partners.

Also, can anyone throw some light on the pay structure for freshers, internship experiences etc.?
Goyel & Goyal - 4ish years old. Not much M&A work but insane amount of VC work

decent pay post at 2PQE and above i've heard
They also have a very busy debt practice - although its not traditional B&F from what I hear.

Ascendus Law Partners. Primarily does VC, PE and M&A. They opened i think some 2 years back.
Can people contribute to this thread/post so that a list of new law firms having a PE/VC and/or M&A practice can be created? Some law firms that I know of are Ayakta, Lex Consult and LexStart Partners. Thanks in advance!
