ive seen junior judges in division benches fall asleep lol so chill
You are undermining public confidence in the legal profession.
This happens to a lot of people. Those who notice don't normally judge, because most of us have been in that position earlier, and will be in that position later. Just make sure you don't doze off on some chair right in front of the Hon'ble Bench, that is really tardy
As someone who has had to sit in court for hours on end during multiple internships, I can attest to the fact that it is easier to fall asleep in court than in one's own bed if you are not arguing counsel.
If you are in Bombay HC, judges have been known to throw out advocates who don't maintain the decorum inside the courtroom.
So I have a proclivity to fall asleep while awaiting my matter/item to be called out in Court. Does this reflect badly on me, or do judges, and other lawyers understand that this is consequence of the grind? Or do they simply not notice and care.
