I've heard a lot about Delhi Litigation, but how is the scope for growth in Bombay for litigation? Studying in TN right now but I have family in Bombay and I can afford to enter litigation. What are the growth prospects? (L)Earning curve?
Complete honesty based on what I've seen

Earning: Nil

Learning: Mid
Bump. Would appreciate if Disputes lawyers from Bombay firms could give insight as to how much junior and senior counsels charge for conferences, briefings, appearances etc.
Juniors charge anywhere between 2000-10,000/- per appearance

Seniors (5+ years of practice) charge anywhere between 30,000/- to 10,00,000/- per appearance
Thanks a lot. Any insights regarding scope of growth, hurdles, etc.?
Bump, please also elaborate more on the OS-AS distinction.
Virtually zero these days. Everybody is doing everything, especially since the OS shrank due to the increase in the City Civil Court's jurisdiction. You're somewhat likelier to encounter Marathi language documents on the AS, and they don't have to be translated as per Rules.
Thanks. I enquired about the learning curve as seniors at college have told me about how Delhi litigation consists of many young faces, which I haven't heard for the Bombay Bar. Thus, I'd appreciate inputs regarding growth from both financial and career perspectives.
