They moved out to ResolΓΌt and other places. Only juniors left
Does the firm still have disputes practice? Asking since I am keen to know if there is an opportunity to work with senior people during the practice (re)building phase.

That checks out. With hardly any experienced people left the new hires will have to rely heavily on AI to guide their research, formulate opinions and prepare drafts.
See, you would think that is the case, but no. They are only hiring freshers.
do you not understand that when seniors leave the firm wouldnt need to hire inexperienced talent? Who will assign you work if the partners with the clients leave??

Just more and more people leaving. Seems their entire disputes team left.
Incorrect. When it comes to paying, NDA is the paymaster. Do you even know that in 2025 their base salary for freshers is 25 LPA. Tell me which other Indian Law Firm pays that much?
Exalted… fancier words do not a truth make.
Lol. But seriously what is the salary structure?
Who is exiting?! Is it in corporate? What about Nischal, Vyapak and Viral? Are they sticking?

Mentioned where? There are no other firms mentioned in this post (no article has been linked to this post either)
Listed here meant mentioned. With such comprehensive skills, are you seriously a lawyer?
But NDA doesn't have any tax seniors left in the team. Rajesh Simhan, Dhruv Sanghavi, Ashish Sodhani, Varsha Bhattacharya have all left. Most juniors have also left. Only Parul Jain is there.
Where are these firms listed? NSE or BSE? Or NYSE?
NDA’s disputes (arbitration) team had been performing very well from what I hear
Speaking as an outsider who has seen such posts often on LI about NDA over the years - the firm is most probably not going anywhere and will continue to exist in a similar or exalted state for many more years.
They are reportedly paying 50L to freshers, please update your stats
Us this why NDA is reportedly paying 25L pa to freshers?
There is nothing trollish but bare truth. Heard HT and VP pushing members to use AI and draft agreements, and legal memos. Lol
Their latest strategy is to replace the mid-senior level folks with AI and only have junior members on the team to vet the AI-generated work product.

Don’t think so, that was talking about a large corporate law firm. NDA is not large and was not really expanding either.
Lol but this is far away from reality. My friends work there the firm event in its current state is performing far better than many of listed tier 2/3 firms.
Was bound to happen I'd actually bet this was NDs plan all along. He didnt think about NDA beyond him
thanks, 2nd year student. If you really knew the firm, you'd know why this would not happen.
Breakout, sure. Practice areas? Lol.
Interesting.. with so many people leaving, surprising that NDA is going the other way (i.e. finding way to push people instead of taking extra care to retain and get good talent).
Can Confirm. Few senior leaders set to establish a new firm specializing in TAX, Tmt and Pharma and healthcare. A few (not more than 3-4 seniors) might stick with Mr. Desai. Overall, no one is happy.
Heard about Nishith Desai Associates freezing bonuses for whole firm and a full collapse of the firm. Any confirmation?
