1. 1) The already demanding trimester structure will become even more intense, compromising the quality of learning and academic engagement.
2. 2) Their claim that this change facilitates longer internships is flawed, as most cycles begin at the start of a month, making the early trimester ineffective.
3. 3) Converting four Saturdays into working days disregards existing student plans, including long weekends intended for rest, travel, or other engagements.
4. 4) Moot courts, ADR competitions, and conferences, often scheduled on weekends, will be disrupted, affecting student participation and attendance.
5. 5) Reduced time for grading, coursework planning, and research will diminish academic engagement for both students and faculty.
6. 6) The final trimester is meant to balance academic responsibilities with personal time; this change unduly intensifies pressure during a crucial period.
