A lot of places have this issue. My suggestion to you would be to continue for sometime, try to get training from a helpful SA/PA. If this doesn’t work, switch.
As for suggestions to change jobs I think that is challenging in this market and you would rather find a way to make this work for enough time that you actually gain something from your present workplace before moving on. Shifts should be after someone value adds to your experience rather than panic stricken.
