I am an A0 at a law firm in the GC team. I want to get better at understanding things and I am studying/reading up on my own. But if there's certain things that I don't understand that come with practical experience or right now, as an A0 don't know when it's appropriate to move to a better team, etc., I'd like to speak to someone about it. I do ask my seniors at work if I don't understand things or even a couple of seniors from my college but I thought perhaps I should also ask here as well if anyone's (A2/A3/SA (although SAs will be quite busy and may not have time)) interested + can spare some time to help me understand the practicalities of GC/this career, I'd appreciate it a lot. For instance, I didn't know one had to look up similarly placed companies to assess the regulatory aspect for a requisition list. Things like that.
I won't ask you to teach me things - just help me clarify my understanding after I've read things on my own. I won't take a ton of your time and I will ensure to work on this by myself as much as I can. Thank you.
