Hi, I'm a first year student who got into an internship through the place com in a litigation firm. Now out of excitement (and since until now my college had little to no attendance issue), i believed I could devote my time here and work. However, sem 2 has started, I'm not able to attend my lecs because my internship believes that i should be in office/court all day even at expense of my college. In fact, I'm being told I'm "allowed" to attend lecs which itself is some sort of privilege. Unfortunately, I did not know the conditions would be this bad. I am a girl and I reach home around 10 after leaving early morning. I feel stuck, scared my place com will not take my concern seriously, college might f me over attendance and I'm not even sure how much I'm learning in the internship itself because so far I've been visiting courts with files and writing a few articles. Is this normal litigation intern experience and I'm over reacting? I feel I'm losing my mind.
