India is not a huge source of new and meaningful intellectual property, honestly.
Because IPR and AI are married to innovations in tech and India only services and doesn't innovates
Not just tech. We sick at making even other types of IP like good movies, good music and world-class brands.
Because who exactly will lawyers advice? Indian clients are busy doing labour arbitrage rather than any meaningful R&D relating to tech, IPR and AI.
Seniors don't like to give juniors room or credit in India for their work. And they can't really understand the tech themselves. That's why we do pretty well with old school subjects like constitutional law and criminal law but not so much with new fields.
