For the record: the last date for applying has now been extended to 23 March 2025.
This is absolutely ridiculous! Intake of so many faculties yet only 1 selected.
WTF !!! 4 seats and only filled by 1. Do earlier work experience counts ? Why so less PhD intake ? How do you even prepare for the exam ? I saw previous year paper and it's 10 pages long, that has random questions !!!
Very competitive. But sometimes, there is no head and tail of what they think
Does IISc cater to law graduates ? Absolutely not. So why give such a blatant stupid comparison. Should have named JNU, BHU, DU, IITKgp etc
Thanks. I see that NLS has only 4 seats for law. How competitive is it ? Is there any inert biasness as well ?
Because NLS is a UG-focussed state university. It does not have any research culture. If you want to see what true research culture is (even though in different subject areas), just go to IISc (across the town).
Those who know, know. You may ask a few of those suffering via linkedin.
Stay away from there if you don't want your PhD to be dependent upon the whims and fancies of a single individual who is not even your guide.
