🚨 Milbank LLP is doubling down on its finance credentials.
The firm is rolling out a leveraged finance-focused training contract for London trainees.
Trainees on the ‘LevFin Track’ will spend 12-18 months sitting in the firm’s leveraged finance department, followed by at least one seat in a different practice area, with the aim of qualifying into leveraged finance.
The first group of five trainees on the LevFin track are due to start in September.
Milbank takes 12 trainees a year in London and pays market-topping salaries to its grads.
First-year salaries are £65,000, with second-years on £70,000.
That matches US rivals Davis Polk, McDermott and Sullivan & Cromwell as the best paying in the City.
