Placements are good. Law firms policies don’t look it as being below top NLUs as many partners have their children at Jindal. Profs are great and you have more corporate law focused electives like competition, banking, M&A, Capital Markets, IP, Aviation amongst others. I don’t think SLS Pune has such an extensive selection. These can better prepare you for internships, working. Also profs conducting these electives have worked at top law firms in these field so they can recommend you to Partners as many were their peers, friends. They also have regular lectures from KCo, AZB partners, etc.
In Jindal you can get merit based internships at tier 1 in third year from college. Not sure about SLS on this though. One big problem is that you will intern in select months and every single Jindal person is interning at that time so getting internship will be hard if you don’t have contact. Plus SLS kinda allows you to do long term internship in 5th year. Jindal will not officially help you in attendance if you intern during semester. So securing job may get slightly complicated. Although zero day is there and you can get an offer.
I believe SLS Pune also has more courses each semester than Jindal for initial few years, anyone from SLS do correct me if I a wrong. This can impact time you have to pursue your interest.
