i have worked as legal counsel at a tech firm for over a year, however, to get more exposure early in my career I am willing to switch to Law firm. My work now mostly revolves around gen corp area, I wish to explore PE/VC/M&A areas or any of them. I am finding it difficult to switch. Would it be worth to not care about the pay and join a firm as a trainee or just continue as inhouse?
Why I though of this is get more exposure early on and then get a better pay as I progress in law firm. Can you guide please?
