I’m currently in my final year of law school in Hyderabad and will be graduating in 2025. I come from a small town in Bihar and have always been passionate about pursuing litigation.
However, I’m at a crossroads right now. I have pending student loans that I need to repay, and I also want to gain meaningful experience in litigation. I’m unsure about which city to focus on or which chambers to approach. Delhi seems like an obvious choice, but I’m skeptical about whether I’ll be able to sustain myself there while managing my financial obligations.
Throughout law school, I’ve interned at District Courts, High Courts, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 law firms, gaining diverse exposure. But despite this experience, I’m struggling to figure out the right path forward where I can learn, grow, sustain myself financially, and eventually clear my student loans.
If anyone has advice, insights, or guidance whether about cities, chambers, or strategies to balance learning and financial sustainability, I’d deeply appreciate it.
