If better faculty can't produce better student performance, then what's the use of having such faculty?
From which angle? Nobody teaching there has got any standing or good quality publications or research output.
Bhai benett also has good faculty. Doesn’t make them any better.
If faculty is the metric, JGLS is far ahead. Sadly for them, graduation outcome (employment) matters more- and that’s where SLS leads.
Don’t even now how this can be a debate. SLS is decades old. Check out T1 law firm partners- how many of them are from JGLS? JGLS is fancy but can’t come close to the alumni network of SLS, especially at T1 law firms.
What makes your opinion any better than that of the trolls?
Compare the graduate outcome of the two universities. SLS P grads and alum are way ahead.
Join SLS. Great opportunities, brilliant campus location, and an amazing life in Pune! You shouldn’t even doubt it. You don’t want to stay stuck in that jgls hostel!
JGLS is way ahead of SLS Pune. Compare the faculty. NLUs and Harvard/Oxford alumni vs Solapur, Kolhapur alumni :)
SLSP all the way, look at the partnership pool across the tier 1s. Jindal has a long way to go.
It's like a comparison between a batch of 1000 rich guys vs a batch of 300 rich guys. Honestly, take your pick. It's the same.
For placements, SLS is far better. You’ll get lost among the crowd in Jindal.
JGLS is much better than SLSP and, in my opinion, is one of the top six law schools in India. Do not listen to what the trolls say on LI regarding JGLS. Choose JGLS if you can afford it. Good Luck!

Has JGLS taken over SLS Pune as the best private law school in India? (I am looking to join either of the two please advise me)
