Humble request to people here. Please don’t get carried away by articles comparing India to China. We are miles behind them and don’t have even 5% of the influence and leverage they have in the world.
The most valuable things a country can export right now are energy, rare earths and tech products. We have neither. Even in low-cost garment manufacturing, Vietnam and Bangladesh have overtaken us.

So we can only export people, unfortunately.
Your first reaction is the answer that you need for your question in the second reaction. Start changing your own perspective and actions first. Only then maybe you will be able to inspire someone else to do better. Adios!
We are still a third-world country with a per capita income of less than $3000. We have no manufacturing base for cheap, mass-market goods. Our industries are primitive and cannot compete with the West or the Asian Tigers.
