We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.

And then there is silence. Uninterrupted by disagreement or even acknowledgement of what has been said, the silence grows longer.
Resentment. It is thick in the air, unspoken and accepted as the norm. A curious sentiment that swells disproportionately, oblivious to the efforts to suppress it.
Anger, because it is easier than being upset. The righteousness that anger comes with soothes better than hurt would.
Guilt. Maybe they’re right. Heaven knows I’m no expert.
Fear. What if they fire me if I mess it up? I’m already pushing buttons by not knowing things that I can’t possibly know but am supposed to know.
Pride. I can do it overnight and send it by dawn, I know. I’m here because I have it in me to do this, even if I’m tired of proving it.
I do it, and I’m tired but satisfied. They don’t review it for a week.
Capitalism - the system which tells us that we should constantly grow and look to improve our standard of living, else we are stagnating in life. That’s how they get us.
