The interaction was a stage-managed farce by the administration. The admin gets away with it because the SJA is incompetent, busy occupying itself with internal politics and non-issues.

All alumni had been invited. It depended upon them who would turn up. Few did.
JUST IN: Alumni interaction just got over... lasted for around 10-15 minutes.... alumni invited were almost all LLM and PhD grads.... feedback given to NAAC was that the VC has proactively taken many measures to improve the university and students are very happy....
It's not the university's fault that you have been kicked out of all alum groups and mailing list. Otherwise you would have got the same invite as others did.
All the alumni who have bothered to provide their contact details to the university's alumni cell have been sent the invitation. Plenty of BA LLB alum are going to join. The selfish ones are going to stay away and troll on LI, as usual.
Why this much insecurity? NUJS admin wala, real ID se aao.
My mistake! Thanks for the correction. You are absolutely right.
It seems only LLM and PhD grads cherry picked by the admin got invites for the alumni interaction. The only BALLB alumni present will be those who are currently teaching at NUJS. Doubt if they will criticise the admin, as that will lead to repercussions.
Please close this thread! This is an internal matter of the college administration and the SJA. The interaction is NOT open to everyone, only to the SJA representatives and select alumni nominated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor.

Alumni should step back and leave things to the SJA, because this is the SJA's turf. Would also request LI to delete this discussion as it is a confidential matter.
Second best? why not say the best law school on the earth?
First of all, alumni should not be involved and this should be entirely the jurisdiction of the SJA. Secondly, I kindly request LI to delete this thread. This involves an internal and confidential university issue.
Correction: the country's FORMERLY second-best law school. Though NUJS was ahead of NALSAR during the Menon/Chimni/MP Singh days, that is not the case any more.
This is important! It relates to the country's supposedly second best law school. Why are the comments being held in the pipeline?
NUJS is following the Sudhir way by preferring non-BALLB students/Alumni over BALLB Students/Alumni. Good that others are learning from the NLSIU greatness.
So why aren't you writing to him and seeking a clarification? Which working professional asks such questions on LI?
