Do you want to know about only Tier 1's or do boutiques/ Tier 2 work as well?
Happy to listen to all options in all honesty. Obviously the pay matters a lot as I want to finish a year in the strongest financial position possible but I’m not married to it.
Krithika Chandrasekharan (CAM Bangalore - PE/M&A).

Only been 1 year as partner; but have seen her hold her fort against senior partners on deals. Takes interest in mentoring her juniors as well
Vivek Jha, Fox Mandal delhi office, is amongst the one with deal facilitation centric approach. Seamless and helpful for the team and the clients to work with.
Thank you, I’ve interacted with him. He is genuinely extremely good at what he does and even better, a lovely human being. :)
Thank you! :) I will do a bit more research on Rishabh.
Lol please do research. If u wanna work in a space where u gotta manage everyone above u please join.
Hey, I am not in a position to reply to you. But I had a query.

I got an internship with Think Law advocates. My interest area is general corporate, M & A, PE and VC. Do you have any idea about them?
Hi, I’m OP. My apologies, I don’t know much about Think Law. I’m sure you’ll be able to find out more about the firm during your internship. Wish you the best.
Thinklaw is worth it only for litigation. Avoid corp
Thank you very much, I haven’t dealt with Adhunika but I’ll do my bit of fact finding! :)
I assume this is Gaurav Mistry? Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Appreciate it.
Thank you, I haven’t worked opposite Pallavi, but I will try and find out. :)
KS Bhargava and Hemant Krishna at SAM Bangalore. I know personally how much the senior partner MN tries to push them to take over a matter and leaves them to handle it. They are both so pleasant to deal with and have full support and backing of MN. Very good place to work.
Rangam Sharma is a Counsel at trilegal GGN but I know for a fact he will make it big as a partner soon!
Ekta Gupta from SAM used to run practically all deals of Raghubir Menon. Not sure how the things are now.
Thanks, this is OP, Ekta is great, I’ve worked opposite the team on a few transactions. Perhaps a bit too senior for what I’m looking for.
hello ma'am/sir, is there a chance you could refer this silly 3rd year lad to work under your team? I'd be really grateful if you do give me a chance. Please consider, and if you do agree, share any anonymous email id where I can shoot you a mail. Thank you so much!
Hi, this is OP. Unfortunately, I can’t, I’m sorry! I like your initiative - I’m sure that will carry you well for the rest of your career. Don’t worry too much! I’m sure you’ll do well with some good luck and hard work! Cheers.
Hemant Krishna at SAM Bangalore. Knows his stuff, always calm, will take the time to teach you a thing or two even if you are interning with his team.
Thanks I’ve been looking at his profile and work but seems to not want β€œjob applications on LinkedIn” - which is fair. No way of reaching out at the moment so I will see what works. Thank you! :)
Aniruddha Basu or BN Vivek at KCO Bangalore. Hardworking, measured and strong technical skills. Known to take an interest in mentoring juniors too.
I’ve worked opposite both! Terrific lawyers and terrific people - genuinely care about juniors, which I hear about from my peers. :) thank you!
Can confirm. Brilliant folks and even better people to work with.
Srishti Khare, disputes team, Trilegal DEL. Great to work for and generally sharp!
If you are interested in competition law, then it will be Soham Banerjee from KCo. Though not a partner yet, but will become this year. His technical skills surpass many of the new partners in other firms.
And how many of the options suggested here are women. Is this group chat an indicator that this generation too is male dominated amongst partners ?
