Whether Avirup is hiring? Heard his team seniors are also very good. The seniors including the SA and the PA take major heavy-loading by themselves.. unless like KCO SA PAs who knows nothing but how to burden their Juniors and chilling by themselves.
check Avirup's linkedin recommendation so that you stay miles away from the said PA.

I hear otherwise about some senior folks though. Heard of some cat fights.
It really depends on the sub-vertical. But most people are nice and fun barring a few. There is no yelling and disrespect like in the other firms.
At least, he can hold his ground unlike some other M&A partner in the KCO EIR team.
These are tier-2s. No wonder team and pay are both lean.

Worked across Avirup's team some years ago and it was like a calm breeze. Smart man who gets the job done.

This is such rubbish. No wonder you had to move in house.
From a culture perspective with partners and senior resources being involved in matters thereby equitably distributing the workload, nothing is better than SAM Delhi. It's quite relaxed and everyone is generally chilled out.
Avoid AKB's team at KCO, Mumbai if you value your sanity for heavens sake.
Avirup team’s is also very lean and have loyalist. Not sure whether he has vacancies. Same for Anjan as well. Both of these guys have something which make people to stick with him. Even at lesser pay as compared to tri and KCO.
Avirup does have good projects work, but most of the work is now M&A and PE in Projects and Infrastructure sector, and general M&A/PE
Anjan's team never has vacancies. KCO, JSA and Trilegal are always hiring laterals in Projects so that might be your best bets.
QJ' team is fairly small and fulfill its A0 requirements through PPO hires each year. They do bring in a lot of lateral hires for A2s and above.
Avirup and Anjan are gems in the industry. Both run a tight ship where people dont leave with very good work!
Anjan at DSK has a solid practice, but a super lean team- so check that out?

HSA has a good projects practice too- but you know how their pay is and if they pay you that is.
Akshay Malhotra - TT&A, Delhi (Ex - KCO, Delhi). Extremely underrated guy with good work.
Anuja Tiwari - AZB, Noida. Hard taskmaster but great mentor with blue chip work.
avoid KCO, Mumbai and Trilegal, Gurgaon as a whole.
What are the best EIR teams in terms of work and culture?
