Salary questions for NLSIU Assistant Professor
That's absolutely rubbish. Many of those people have been appointed at full scale with 7th CPC. Why make random claims when you don't have any facts?

This practice appears to be primarily driven by cost-saving considerations. Individuals appointed under such arrangements are often compensated at nearly half the salary of a regular Assistant Professor and are not provided with comparable benefits and service conditions.

Almost all NLUs are certainly recruiting people with only LLM and NET every year. So are other public universities. When it comes to private universities, BITS, Jindal, Mahindra, Benett, Munjal, all recruit such people. If you're part of the academia then you would know.

As if universities are still recruiting with only net and LLM. People here appearing with PhD degrees and work experience are getting rejected for an already limited seats.

This is bad advice. So long as you wish to do so from India, you can easily clear NET after your LLM, join an NLU or a good private university as an Assistant Professor, gain some teaching experience and then apply for a part time or paid full time PhD abroad.

While this seems random and out of the blue, it is actually good advice. Soon, a higher end Russell Group/Ivy League PhD/SJD might almost become a prerequisit for academic jobs at NLSIU.

do a phd from a uk uni using the gta scholarship (which all unis have) and then if you want you can come back to india
