yes, super Senior advocates (designated) (in their 70s), at some high courts, and these people are less than 50 per HC, make 20 crores an year.
The most senior equity partners in India at T1 law firms make 10-12 crores an year. Managing partners make 25-30. All this is before tax, and tax is a LOT here.
26 crores is not a "small change", not even a manageable charge. Maybe manageable for Harish Salve and 3-4 other SAs. Not a small charge even for them. Maybe it is for the promoters of top indian companies and superstar actors and top cricketers. But 26 crores is not a small charge for any human being, its a huge deal. Maybe just in your mind, dont worry you would never get there. Keep dreaming.
