This is actually wrong for the UN. You do need great academic standing from elite institutions to make the cut even with work experience - unless that work experience happens to be that you are foreign minister of a country.

But within an attendance requirement of 75% in Indian colleges how can one stay away for 6 months?
WIPO calls for internships occasionally. Duration is 6 months. Try applying.
Work experience. Work experience. Work experience. Stop collecting degrees and start proving you can work. Period !

If possible, can you please advice me how to enter in such UN orgs especially UNESCO or WIPO as a P1 level lawyer ?
Thanks. However I was curious about the qualifications one would require to make the cut
ILO and FAO as well. Plus some non UN but similar bodies like ICC and World Bank.
Yes, I know both NLU and non NLU grads to have worked at the UN including UNESCO, UNICEF and UNHCR.
Is it possible for an Indian LLB wala to join any United Nations organ as a lawyer/in some legal capacity? Is work experience needed? Has any Non-NLU lawgrad achieved this feat?
