An MBA abroad is obviously more preferable, but expensive!!
I am at a student at a Tier-1 Law Uni. I am comfortably placed in law school. Not too worried about being able to land a job at a T-1 firm. While I enjoy law, my interest in business administration has also grown. Given this, I might look to do an MBA. I have two questions. If someone has any info (esp those who've gone down this path or considered it), I'd really appreciate your insight. I have two specific questions.
i) What kinds of career opportunities open up (domestic and abroad) for someone with a law + MBA degree? How rewarding is these (in terms of quality of life and remuneration) compared to T-1 Law Firms?
ii) IIMs or MBAs abroad? What's the difference in the quality of education, and how would this affect my career opportunities down the line?
In considering this decision, please note that I do not come from a family that's financially well off. My love for the subject matters, but remuneration would definitely play a strong role in my decision.
