It's that time of year where bonuses are near (for some of us), and splurging is expected (nah, encouraged). Do share what your peers/seniors/juniors/clients are up to this festive season. Can be the aspirational, the cringe, the chindi, and the genuinely sweet.
I can start: T1/M&A team in Bombay, the recently minted PA seems to have picked up an entry level Rolex and keeps trying to use it as a conversation starter. Except he was flexing to a young lady associate from another team and didn't know that her dad a member of the promoter family of a listed business. She was wearing a month's salary worth of accessories but this parvenu PA couldn't tell. But credit to the associate, she was classy and polite and humoured the poor guy!
