I hope the pattern is same as of 2022, as I appeared for 2021 and 2022 both years. I got 115/150 : Rank 717 in the first,
and 112/150: Rank 47 in the Second attempt.
So, if you are OMS. You need to focus on getting into top 50 Ranks. Bcz only GLC & ILS are worth it
Now, preparation:
1. English: They ask for very basic questions. Out of 30 marks, 10 marks for Comprehension, which are so so so simple. A 5th Standard student can solve it even.
Then comes, fill ups, which are also simple. Just brush up your basic grammar rules.
Then comes vocabulary, refer word power made easy, more than sufficient.
English part is totally doable.
(Pro Tip: There is a channel on yt named "Manuevour Education" they do PYPQs analysis for MHCET, you see that, you will get fair idea of type of questions. See their videos, on paper pattern too.)
2. GK
It consists of again 30 Q.
In 2021, there were 24 questions from static GK. and it was so so easy. They asked "Where is Taj Mahel situated"
What's the Name of President. So, such basic questions. But it depends on luck, again. So, focus more on static GK. And refer to some handout for Current affairs.
Don't waste much time on Newspaper for MHCET.
3. Maths
10 marks, but matters a lot. Again everything arithmetic. So, search on YouTube, basic chapters of TSD, time and work, Profit loss, basic things .
Brush up your concepts from YouTube.
4. Legal Reasoning
It's very scoring, and determining.
2 types: Legal Knowledge and Legal Reasoning.
Prepare this section from Universal guide to CLAT. That will cover everything
It has principle fact based questions, which all are from CLAT PYPQs. Literally, they copy paste things.
5. Logical Reasoning
It is the most determining section. Puzzles and Sitting arrangements, comes for 25 marks around. It's bit tricky, it's a bit"difficult section" in the exam.
Prepare a lot for it.
So, that's all about it. This exam is totally based on Luck. Totally, if you are OMS.
Cut offs: for Oms
This exam started in 2016
2016: 106
2017: 107-108
2018: 110-112
2019: 113-115
2020 : 112 was the last
2021: 127 for GLC and ILS
2022: 111 for GLC and ILS
I don't know after that, and also, these cut offs are for OMS and for GLC/ILS.
Tip: don't waste time on searching PYPQs, they don't release it.
