And LinkedIn? You send out messages trying to connect with recruiters or professionals, and they leave you on “seen.” It's like you don’t even exist. Every job posting wants 2-3 years of experience for an entry-level role, and the whole system feels broken.
The legal industry talks about professionalism, but how professional is it to ghost candidates? No rejection emails, no feedback—just leaving people hanging. You spend hours customizing every application, tweaking your resume, and it all feels like it’s going into a black hole. It's mentally exhausting, and honestly, I’m over it.
Things should start looking better soon.
Even more frustrating, I applied to a firm recently and didn’t hear anything, not even a yes or no. But then, I checked LinkedIn and saw that they hired a new fresher! It really makes you wonder—are decisions based on connections, or is it just luck? There's no transparency, and it leaves candidates in the dark. A little professionalism would go a long way.
Many expanded and now the commercials of it are taking.
Do not despair. Take anything for now. These cycles happen.
