There will be a personal folder too but you can’t keep much on that.
So, will you be able to make personal use on your laptop? Sure, to the point that it isn't inappropriate or social media, and as long as you don't mind the IT team having full access to whatever you see and do. I've never seen anyone be reprimanded for these things though.
