Ex Associate here. The litigation team is a ghost of itrs practice prior to VK's designation. They're on their nth iteration of the lit team but it's a ▮▮▮. The pay is bad in comparison to other boutique firms.

You will get some independence in the practice but for everything to anything, the lit is dependent on the be daya drishti of VK. The partner and senior partner of NCLT have ▮▮▮.

In the corp team, JNC and ST are handsdown two of the most competent lawyers who ought to be highlighted and celebrated in the profession. SS is great. NB (Managing Associate) is brilliant and absolutely amazing to work with and learn from. They've added an IP team now which is doing good.

▮▮▮ JNC and NB, the 3rd MA are the main corp transactional work team while ST SS MD JST are your real estate team. I've worked with NB and she's brilliant and deserves better.

The average pay when I left was 10.2 l fixed + 85k fixed bonus.

The firm is also run like a chamber. Agar mahine se pehle biscuit khatam hogye pantry main they will not restock it. Same with tissue papers. 8pm ke baad ACs off.

agreed but they do different kind of work. JNC's and SS's work style also varies a lot. JNC's is a lot more challenging but they are both good at their own places. But as a part of this firm, you will have to face MD, the managing associate and JST (the managing partner's daughter), which is the toxic and drainign part of the firm. and since they have afamily sort of culture, these two are never going away so yeah

They never said they are A0. I am an ex associate and they mostly start with 35k fixed for A0/ freshers in both lit and corp. Also Copr is not corp work per say, it is real estate mainly- 90% of the work. The person above also must have been atleast an A2 at the time of their comment.

Corporate team is pretty good if you get a chance to work more with JNC, the senior partner instead of SS, Partner and MD, Managing Associate.

Associate here. Pay is okay not that great. I am getting 70k including the fixed variable portion. A bit of an old-school firm. People at the top (Senior Partners and Managing partners) are good people which shows in the culture. Except for 1-2 people, the work culture is nice. Corporate is mostly advisory. Transaction work is there in Real estate. Office timings are unnecessarily long but kya hi kre.
