Do you solemnly agree to all of the above?
Eg - stellar intern but no vacancy - versus good intern, lets along with others, has the partner's eye, and who was in the team when a vacancy popped up. Latter more likely to be hired.
Firms dont just hire on vacancies, but well in advance in anticipation of vacancies, there's a specific number in each team that the partner determines. And this number isn't an exact number, it varies with intern performance and trends.
