Guns, and gun control are a tool. The Indians, Americans, and the British are peoples. You cannot use the wrong tool and expect the right result.

Moved to the US, got a gun here. Quite easy to get. The Brits fucked over India by introducing gun control, which was subsequently held by indigenous authoritarian governments, thanks to the Arms Act of 1959.
