However, one key difference is that the Jindal girl was from an affluent background who was generally very depressed, whereas the NLUD girl was an IDIA student from a humble background, so her depression may have been worsened by economic and cultural challenges.
At the end of the day, it’s hard to pinpoint one particular cause and we instead need counselling in college by proper therapists. Gen Z is a lot more vulnerable than previous generations and this has been made worse by social media. ▮▮▮
