Dispute Law firm interview
Iām assuming this is for an internship interview. If that's the case, you might want to focus on the basics of the CPC, the Arbitration Act (especially the challenge mechanism, appointment procedures, and interim measures), and interim relief in both arbitration and civil/commercial litigation. Concepts like estoppel, res judicata, and sub judice are frequently asked, as well as the difference between normal and summary suits. In summary, a solid understanding of the CPC, Arbitration Act, Contracts Act, and Commercial Courts Act should suffice. Additionally, expect potential questions from criminal law and constitutional law as well.

What areas of law are typically covered in dispute interviews? Are there specific legal principles or case law that I should be familiar with? Are there any additional resources or strategies you would recommend for preparing for a dispute interview? Given my limited experience in this area.
