It is understood that no T1/T2 firms showed interest to visit NUALS for day zero placements and the final year Students are left high and dry. Adding to the woes, having only two months in total to intern around per year makes it hard for the Students to get a callback/PPO.
That makes it eight internships before Day Zero. Plenty of time for students who are willing to make an effort instead of acting entitled. For firms to show interest, the students have to build up good CVs and plan strategically and be enterprising.
Lets not forget the part that most of the Tiered firms prefer students from fourth year only. So that makes it roughly 3-4 internships before day zero.
Not at all. I've seen plenty of NLU students intern in tier one firms from second year onward. I myself had done it. Without contacts.
