Their pay scales are unexpectedly low, for a firm that has a partnership with big foreign law firm they really should push their numbers up.
Donโ€™t call it link legal- itโ€™s Dentons ๐Ÿ˜‚. With the NY returned partner at helm of things itโ€™s no less than a US firm. Fools feel otherwise. Plus you have โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ.
Direct switch to T1 from the Banking team definitely
Everyone is a trainee till they get enrolled in the Bar. This is their scammy way of paying fresh graduates less money for a few months. Which, everyone knows is dependent on the university/ college giving degrees.
I have seen a lot of people switching to T1s. There are certain teams from which almost 80% people switch to T1s only.
Trainee is before bar enrolment. Retainer is after bar enrolment.
What is the difference between trainee and retainer?

If someone is an assesment intern.? Whether they he /she will be turned into trainee or retainer if given ppo?
seen a ppo offer letter

Trainee 30KAO Retainer 60K

Bonus up to 80K

Seriously? I have heard they pay 60k in hand + few perks

Dll is tier 3/4 ? Isnt it being categorised as tier 2 in few practises like m/a /capital markets etc?
50 k plus salted peanuts. You'll be shouted at and made to work on weekends if that helps you take a decision. And DLL has always been a tier 3/4 firm, NOT a T2. So won't really help unless you have contacts.
Anybody having any idea of payment structure for A0 at DLL and bonus if any?

And whether the name of DLL being t2 help to switch to tier 1 law firms?
