same response, irrespective of location/practice area/period of internship/gap between desired slot for internship and date of submission of application.
My junior (3rd yr) got to the interview somehow in her second year. Didn't qualify tho.
But I was rejected (without interview) despite applying in my 3rd yr with an objectively better CV...
You really can't predict these things.
