It’s not the wealth or privilege of others that bothers me; rather, it's the unfairness of a system where connections seem to matter more than genuine ability and passion. I chose to study law out of a deep passion for the field, only to find that success often hinges more on who you know than what you know.
I hope that one day, those in HR who judge candidates based on connections rather than merit will face a reckoning for the dreams and hopes they have stifled.

Lost hope
If you can't even get through the first, easiest stage (convincing a law firm that has vacancies to hire you), are you really going to be any good at persuading clients to come to you instead of the law firm down the road?
If you simply want to be an employee, churning out legal work and being paid a salary and not have to build client relationships, may I suggest some kind of government service? Or some companies take freshers as inhouse legal I think (although you'll find out that relationships are important even in house)
