This was my last message to the Partner before I received pink slip.
The only way to deal with this is to start working with another partner (if you have the option), or just switch to another firm.
One thing that bugs the hell out of me are calls from my seniors after 9.30pm for not really urgent stuff. Things they forgot to assign during the day.
My previous senior from a Lower Parel firm had this habit of calling me at 9.30pm or later and assigning fresh work or staff me on new matters. In addition she would give me a morning deadline for a deliverable. I would end up pulling an unplanned unexpected all nighter with very groggy times.
Then there was my boss, they would love to email me on Saturday evening for urgent work. Needless to say I didn't stay there much longer.
Does this happen to you? How did or do you deal with it? Personally, I dont tolerate this anymore, i ignore all messages and emails after 10pm.
