One article quotes colleagues of the victim who say that she may have been killed because she was very honest and was going to expose a drug trafficking racket inside the hospital, involving powerful people. Another article says that people who are innocent seem to have been arrested for vandalising the crime scene. One guy works as a sound technician and his fiancé has said that there is CCTV footage of him working at the time of the vandalism.
2. Indian Express:
Left and BJP workers are being falsely arrested and questioned by the police for the vandalism, as a way to intimidate the opposition. One young and honest girl who is a well-known leftist student activist, Minakshi Mukherjee, has been summoned by the police along with there leftist students. They have rock-solid alibis and the vandals were all men, but still these girls are being blamed for it.
