You’d think NLU students would be the first ones to protest and demand justice for women, rather than the medical fraternity? Were they among the thousands marching in Bengal on 14 August midnight? We saw footage of JU, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta students. What about NUJS?🤔
There also seems to be silence from many liberals in general. Even The Wire has called out Mahua Moitra (who has a big fan club among LI users) for her hypocrisy. Haven’t heard anything substantial also from Indira Jaising, Karuna Nundy etc. Strange.

A group of students who were involved with IDIA had intervened in the HC to help slum dwellers of Subhas Sarovar to receive rehabilitation before dodgy eviction being engineered by the local councillor. In violation of HC order, the councillor organised the eviction anyway and NUJS students intervened. They were badly groped and beaten up. PIB, SAK and none in the faculty and non-teaching staff did anything to pursue police action against the perps. Instead SAK issued a written statement distancing the univ from the humanitarian intervention by students. So much for legal aid and social justice education!

Yes, the Left and Saffron have a long and ever growing list of horrible crimes, cover-ups etc. Understandable that many have a pathological hatred for anything Red/Saffron. But shouldn't the anger also be directed at the crime and those who ensure an institutional culture of cover-up?
Did "apolitical" gatherings come out in large nos. at the following places?

By the way, despite spending crores on "Commissions" that have been doing NUJS-style inquiries on pogroms by the Left regime - Ananda Margi killings on Bijon Setu; Sain Bari killings in Burdwan etc, why hasn't CM Kindness publicly released any of those reports and taken follow-up action? It has been more than 15 years since those regime-friendly retired HC judges were appointed.
And please don't make politically inconvenient demands on SJA.

Some are claiming that other elite national universities IIMC and IITKGP are protesting, but I have personally not seen any evidence on social media which confirms that IIMC and IITKGP students are involved as a student body (as opposed to posts in their PERSONAL CAPACITY). Only state universities seem to be involved, like JU, Presidency, St Xavier's College and medical colleges.
I am especially making this request to first years because they are rumours that they are planning some type of action. Guys, please do not take any action without consulting your seniors first. Learn the difference between PERSONAL CAPACITY and using names and logos of the college/SJA.
