Reflecting on the NIRF rankings, NLSIU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Krishnaswamy said: βWhile remaining a centre of national academic excellence we are committed to developing stronger partnerships with the court systems, the legal profession and the Union and State Governments of India to collaboratively deliver transformative and effective legal system reform.
We are engaged in a comprehensive review of the 5-Year BA LLB (Hons) curriculum in consultation with our Governing bodies. We plan to launch this renewed curriculum in AY 2025-26, and to develop high quality and accessible learning materials in collaborations with law universities and colleges to anchor the next generation of Indian legal education reform.
The NIRF Rankings give us the confidence to dedicate ourselves to these critical national goals.β

Very obviously most of the non-NLUs have lied about their stats. This has hurt GNLU's ranking. I would urge GNLU to approach the Gujarat lobby and institute an audit against these colleges. It's practically like doping in the Olympics.
NIRF loses all credibility by that ranking.
It's so obvious you are a pvt college hater, and so probably, from one of the NLUs
And I am not a pvt college hater, I simply think that Symbiosis is not the 5th best law school in India
Good teachers have all left, no goddamn care about placements lol.
Plus alumni are successful, but alumni relation with the college is pretty poor, courtesy SG.
And yes I do think that Symbiosis does not match the standards of Tier-1 NLUs. Simply because Symbi students will absolutely join any tier-1 NLU if they had the chance.
my fellow GNLUites please boycott NIRF
